When Is a Senator Not a Senator

Toady's most intriguing question is: When is a US Senator, not a Senator? Apparently, when the US Senate decides that newly appointed Senator Burris, from the state of Illinois carries the stench of governor Blagojevich's F.B.I wire taps and subsequent arrest on corruption charges, all the way from Chicago's political machinery to the hallowed halls of the senate floor in Washington DC.

Thank God the Senate still has some stones left. There is too much shenanigans in Chicago Politics to seat Senator Burris at this time.
